Introduction

 Do you know which prefectures are associated with yakimanju, chohan, and string noodles (・・・・)? A few more hints: Jomo Shimbun, Mount Akagi, and Kusatsu Onsen. –This is an article contributed to this NL by Dr. Takeo Nakanishi of Takasaki University of Health and Welfare last year ( Newsletter No. 35(5)).

 If not for the corona disaster, we would have been able to see Gunma’s specialties at the annual meeting starting on November 16, and we would have been able to meet and talk directly with the members of the kinetic society. It is regrettable that we were not able to do so. On the other hand, I cannot imagine how hard the organizing committee members, including President Takuo Ogiwara, who had planned to hold the conference in Gunma and decided to switch the conference online at the last minute in consideration of the social situation, have worked, and I cannot thank them enough. I am looking forward to seeing you all via Zoom! I look forward to meeting you all via Zoom! (Y)
