INVENTIONS AND INNOVATIONS IN INTERINDIVUDUAL VARIABILITY OF DRUG EFFICACY, TOXICITY AND DISPOSITION

This symposium will be focused on:

1) RNA-EDITING AS A FACTOR FOR INTERINDIVIDUAL VARIABILITY

2) NOVEL APPROACHES IN GENOME-RELATED INTERINDIVIDUAL VARIABILITY

3）METABONOMICS AND PROTEOMICS IN SEARCH FOR A BIOMARKER IN DRUG DISCOVERY, DIAGNOSIS, PROGNOSIS AND PERSONALIZED DRUG TREATMENT

4) PROSPECT OF DRUG-DIAGNOSTIC CO-DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT PAPER

Special lecture will given by Dr. Jeremy K. Nicholson, Imperial College London, UK, with a title of:

“Metabolic Variation and Pharmaco-metabonomics: From Personalised Drug Treatment to Molecular Epidemiology”

and by Dr. Kazuko Nishikura, The Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, USA,

“Gene Regulation via Editing of Coding- and Noncoding-RNAs.”
